No more little puppy's for the old Dog!! Seems like C&W is finally giving up on Bulldog and is no longer actively selling broadband to consumers and small businesses. One bad ISP down, a few more to go... Bulldog is one of those ISP I've never liked. There is just something fundamentally wrong with an ISP that talks about a gate being half open and opening it and I just never got that. Although I may have never actually used Bulldog, I do know a couple of Bulldog and ex-Bulldog customers. And all of them complains day and night about the bad service, how they have been without a connection for a week, etc, etc. Its so bad, they have even been investigated by Ofcom. A few things I don't understand about this whole decision: Bulldog claims that current customers will be unaffected as they will continue to provide customer service - but everyone complains about the poor customer service. Bulldog also say they will focus on selling wholesale broadband to their (now ex) competitors. If they cannot provide a half decent service to consumers, which other broadband company in their right mind would want to buy wholesale from Bulldog?!? Maybe they have some wicked plan of "Our customers have been tortured enough by us, lets go torture our competitors and their cusomers!". Well, Bulldog is not the only ISP that is (was?) on my list of "ISPS to Avoid like the plague". Among my list of scoundral ISPs are: Tiscalli (Just ask Will about his recent joy with that lot), AOL (Because I am morally obligated to dislike them) and BT (because I can do better with a 56k modem). The good guys are Zen and Easynet. Yes, I am a bit biased because we're partners with them, but there's a reason for that - they provide excellent broadband. If you are looking for a better broadband life,
