The funny thing is that this is not the first time something dangerous happens with a piece of Dell hardware. I recall a Dell 350 going up in smoke at my previous company, then there was the motherboard replace project of all the 1650's - about 20 of them. Power supplies that had to be replaced, etc. Every time is seems to be something exploding. You don't hear of Dell hardware being recalled because it doesn't work properly, or it suddenly breaks afer a few months, or anything like that.

I've heard of stories about Laptops can cause men to become sterile, but I guess that research was all based on Dell Laptops ;)
