Microsoft releases its own version of Firefox |

I logged onto my PC this morning, and one of the first bits of news from my rss feed says: "Microsoft unleashes improved Firefox". First thing I did was look out the window, thinking today the world is going to end. On the plus side I thought, well, at least this would mean MS agrees that IE is just plain rubbish.Then again, that's probably why I thought the world was about to end.

Yesterday BT announced they will start charging ISPs in May '07 if they do not use the voluntary MAC numbers to allow customers to migrate over to a new provider. This is excellent news, because we all know those low quality ISPs like to hold their customers hostage by not supplying MAC numbers and making it difficult to move to a new ISP.

I had a visit from nPower today. Opened the door, saw the badges and asked: "Are you here to get me to switch?". "Oh no, thats not what we're here for", says the woman who seem to be on autopilot, "We just want to check these numbers with the ones on your bill so we can see how we can save you money".
